Taragate Ltd is a privately owned family company manufacturing and distributing high end quality electric fence products. Based in the heartland of New Zealand’s premier dairy region, co-founders Kerry and Barbara Powell have combined a background in intensive grassland farming with a background in electrical technology to ensure all products developed by the company offer significant points of advantage – the hallmark of the Taragate range.
Heading up the range is the award winning "Taragate Multi – Strand Electric Gate", this exclusive product has for over ten years earned a reputation of proven excellence in the New Zealand market. The range is now extended to over sixty products with a number of these unique to Taragate.
Taragate Ltd has also established a Research and Design team consisting of six independent designers, totalling over 100 years experience in electric fence design and technology. Innovation and excellence are the passion of this team.
Taragate products are now successfully exported to Australia, England, Ireland, France as well as Central and South America.
